Members of the Shayetet develop a special set of skills during their term of service. In times of need, whether that be a military conflict or unexpected accident or catastrophe in country, these individuals are uniquely qualified to step up and provide assistance. The Atalef is training Shayetet alumni to cooperate with emergency service response teams to provide critical assistance in times of emergency.
